Installing Windows 10 is a straightforward process that can be completed with a simple USB flash drive. Hereβs a step-by-step guide to help you get started.
Step 1: Prepare Your USB Flash Drive
Before you begin, make sure your USB flash drive is clean and free of any dust or debris. It’s also a good idea to write the ISO file on a new folder on the thumb drive.
Step 2: Connect Your USB Flash Drive
Insert the USB flash drive into your computer. Windows 10 should recognize it as an available storage device.
Step 3: Create a Bootable Installation Media
To create a bootable installation media, you can use Rufus, which is a free tool provided by Microsoft. Hereβs how:
- Open Rufus on your computer and select the ISO file that contains the Windows 10 installation.
- Choose a location to save the USB flash drive and enter the serial number of your PC into the βUSB Deviceβ field.
